Release Dates

Print this page or screenshot it. Reality Fracture’s public calendar is denser than a single street date. Tabletop release is October 2, 2026. Several things happen before that, and the WPN season continues into November.

For product contents use products. For how to play the first event use prerelease. For digital queues use Arena.

Store-facing dates (useful if you organize)

WPN listed distributor selection and event scheduling opening July 17, Marketing Portal updates July 29, and marketing kit delivery September 17–24. If you are a player, those dates only matter because they explain why some stores advertise later than others.

What “releases on October 2” does not mean

It does not mean you cannot play before then. Prerelease is the paper preview. Arena is a digital preview. It also does not mean every SKU hits every retailer on the same morning — Secret Lair Bundles and Collector boxes have their own stocking patterns. Preorder using the checklist rather than assuming Amazon and your LGS share inventory.

Spotlight: Fracture is not a prerelease. It is a competitive event weeks after street date. Do not skip prerelease because Hartford is on your calendar; the formats and promo cards differ.

How this wiki will treat date changes

If Wizards moves Arena or adds a window, this page updates first, then getting started and the home FAQ. We will not silently change “October 2” in a random guide and leave the hub stale. If you see a conflict, this page plus official WPN dates win.

Book prerelease as soon as your store opens the list. Digital players should still note September 29 so they do not burn wildcards a week early on incomplete spoiler guesses. Commander players should note both Party windows so they can attend one without stacking the same promo twice unless they want to.
