Find Reality Fracture Events
Prerelease is in stores this time. Use the official locator, then pick a window.
Find a store with the Wizards locator. Filter for Magic: The Gathering, then call or check the store’s own page for Reality Fracture prerelease seats. This wiki cannot book a ticket for you.
How the event plays: prerelease. When it runs: release dates. What to buy besides the ticket: buyer guide.
Prerelease week
September 25–October 1, 2026. In-store only. At-Home kits are retired worldwide with this set. Two-Headed Giant uses one Prerelease Pack plus two Play Boosters per team, not two full kits. Stores may sell product during the week under WPN early-sales policy; that is not the same as a prerelease seat.
If a marketplace listing says “prerelease kit, ships to you,” it is either leftover language or a scalped product. Ask the seller whether it is a WPN event ticket. If it is not, it is just six Play Boosters in a fancy box.
After street date
- Commander Party: October 9–15 and October 23–29. Promo: Crystal Ball.
- Reality Echoes: October 16–November 5, Pick-Two. Winner: set-symbol pin.
- All Leylines’ Eve: October 30–November 5, mixed draft, Leyline of Anticipation participation promo.
- Store Championship: one event in the October 9–November 5 window.
- Standard Showdown: weekly, Tragic Trajectory for the winner.
- Friday Night Magic: weekly, format at store discretion.
- Magic Academy: learn-to-play and deck-building, good for new players who bounced off Hexhaven jargon.
Spotlight: Fracture
Competitive weekends in Hartford, Connecticut (October 23–25) and Beijing (October 31–November 1), with Pro Tour invitation paths and extra promos. These are not local FNM. Read Magic.gg coverage before you book flights. Our dates page lists them; we do not sell seats.
What to ask the store
- Which days have prerelease seats left?
- Swiss rounds or other structure?
- Is Two-Headed Giant using the new kit math?
- Are they running Reality Echoes, and do they have Draft Night boxes for kitchen-table groups?
- Language of the product (EN/FR/DE/IT/JA/ES)?
If the person on the phone cannot answer (1) and (5), try another store. Official resources include WPN articles the staff should already know.
Bring sleeves. Bring a way to pay. Do not bring a completed 40-card deck to prerelease. Do not expect Collector Boosters in the kit.
Paper events are why At-Home retirement matters. If you refuse to go on-site, play Arena on September 29 and skip this page. If you want the Spindown and the foil promo, you go to a store.
How to read a store listing
A useful listing names the format (Sealed prerelease, Pick-Two, Commander Party), the date inside the official window, the price, and whether the kit is included. A listing that only says “Reality Fracture night, $40” is incomplete. Ask whether you are paying for six Play Boosters plus promo or for entry to a constructed event with no kit. The preorder checklist is the player-side version of that question.
Language mix-ups happen in cities with multiple printings. If you drafted French cards last set by accident, say so when you book. Product languages for this release are English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish. Serialized Recollector is English even in other-language Collector Boosters, which only matters if you are cracking Collectors at the same store.
Parking, accessibility, and round count are store-specific. This wiki will not pretend to know your LGS’s Swiss structure. Three or four rounds is typical for prerelease; Spotlight: Fracture is a different beast entirely. If you need the competitive weekend, read Magic.gg, not only this page.
If two stores are equally close, pick the one that can answer the 2HG kit question. That answer is how you know they read the WPN article linked from official resources. Then sleeve up and go play.
